AR Museum • Giants

We develop an extension of ice age exposure by multimedia elements using the AR application.

Project
We created an AR life-size travelling exhibition of ice age animals that allows visitors to know their size and way of life.

The brief
The goal was for the visitor to gain a new level of experience that enriches the exhibited animals. The AR application makes the exhibition more interactive, engaging and educational, perfectly suitable for families and individuals.

Goal

AR technology makes any exhibition way more entertaining and can significantly increase visits.

Let's create an unforgettable experience for your audience with immersive technologies.

Challenge

The major challenge of this project was that our team had to take every element from realistic models of animals and authentically create a visualization that matched the actual models. We had to find a way to incorporate AR technology in practice that the visitor would gain a new level of experience in a more interactive, engaging and educational way.

Solution

Our solution was an AR app that, after scanning the AR mark on selected animals, a digital layer revealing the muscular system and skeleton is displayed in the application. These expansion layers are calibrated to the physical exhibit, creating an immersive impression. The app includes game elements that encourage visitors to search for virtual puzzle pieces and thus unlock other functionalities (especially the ability to place the 3D model freely in any real space, i.e., outside the exhibition space).
