Why and how we process and protect personal data
We process and protect your data in accordance with the regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing directive 95/46/EC (general data protection regulation) (also the „Regulation“).
We only process personal data where we have a lawful basis for doing so, including the following:

The data provided in the registration forms on this website are processed by means of an electronic database. All personal data is protected against unauthorized access by third persons and abuse.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms
Cookies: If you comment on our site, you may opt-in to allow us to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.

Email forms
By filling in the forms on this website and ticking the respective checkbox, you can go ahead and process your email address. The purpose of processing your data is to send regular newsletters and other information regarding the Yord to the email address provided. You can unsubscribe from our mailing database at any time.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. Who we share your data with | How long do we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have an account on this site, have left comments, or in case you have provided any personal data to us, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you.
