AI Agentic Systems Engineer

Mission

To transition the organization from static automation to a dynamic, Agentic Operating System. You will use n8n as the core orchestrator to design autonomous agents that don’t just move data, but “think,” decide, and execute complex business logic across Revenue, Operations, and Finance and also work on interesting projects for our clients.

Core Responsibilities

1. n8n Ecosystem & Agentic Orchestration

Centralized Orchestration: Design and maintain a scalable n8n environment as the company’s automation backbone.
Agentic Workflow Design: Build “Human-in-the-Loop” agents that handle complex, multi-step business processes rather than simple linear triggers.

2. Adaptive Systems Integration

System Adaptation: Research and implement emerging AI frameworks (e.g., Claude Code, local LLMs) to ensure our automation stack stays at the cutting edge.
Deep API Integration: Architect secure connections between cloud-based n8n and diverse third-party services or On-Premise legacy systems.
Multi-Model Orchestration: Select the right LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or local models like Ollama) based on the specific reasoning needs of the task.

3. Data Management & Security

Data Sovereignty: Configure and manage local vector stores and private inference engines to keep sensitive company data behind our firewall.
Security & Governance: Maintain clear human-in-the-loop governance for all agent actions and ensure compliance with security protocols during data transit.
Observability: Set up health checks and logging to monitor agent “hallucination rates,” token consumption, and system reliability.

The Profile

Core Skills (Must-Haves)

Advanced n8n Proficiency: Mastery of triggers, sub-workflows..
Technical Generalist: Proficiency in using AI coding tools (Claude Code/Cursor) to generate and debug JavaScript/Python within n8n.
Systems Thinking: Ability to map a complex business process into an autonomous agentic loop (Observe -> Orient -> Decide -> Act).
Infrastructure Literacy: High comfort level with Docker, Linux CLI, and secure tunneling.
Ability to adapt: There is a flow of new systems and best practices you will have to adapt.
Problem solving and quick understanding: There are processes and goals that require fast understanding of the problematic (such as sales process optimization)

Development: Claude Code, Cursor, OpenClaw
Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP

Success Metrics (KPIs)

Autonomy Ratio: Percentage of business processes handled by AI agents without human intervention.
System Reliability: Uptime and error-recovery rate of self-healing n8n workflows.
Security Integrity: Zero data leaks or unauthorized agent actions in production.
